I am a data scientist at ForMotiv. ForMotiv is a behavioral analytics company that specializes in using user click-through data gleaned during the quote process to help insurers identify leads, fraudulent activity and rate evasion.
Prior to working at ForMotiv, I was a data scientist at GEICO in the Research and Development Department. While there, I led a team of data scientists who specialize in developing and deploying machine learning models that forecast outstanding claim payouts. These models helped monitor claims-settling operations and informed the setting of GEICO's financial reserves. Before working at GEICO, I was a post-doc in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Michigan. This website will serve as an archive for my ML side projects and my previous academic work.
